Kurdistan region enjoys enormous reserves of non-metallic minerals. With this in mind, Zhav has taken measures to prospect the mines existing in the region. This mine is located 30 kilometers southwest of Bookan County and northwest of Shilan Abad Village, which was exploited by Zhav once the quality of the mineral and acceptable quantity of the reserve became known.
Mineral Analysis: According to the tests conducted at reference labs, the mineral phase of this mine was recognized as Albite , Quartz (major phase) and Muscovite -Illite (minor phase).
