Boroujerd, a county in Lorestan Province, possesses giant reserves of non-metallic minerals. Gol-e Zard Abdi Mine is located 40 kilometers off Boroujerd County. After conducting investigations into exploration and extraction, identifying the mineral quality, and estimating the acceptable deposit, the mine was exploited by Zhav International Process. In line with researching, developing and processing minerals to meet market demands, a mineral processing plant was erected at the site of the mine.
